The Mormon Tabernacle Choir launched a preview of a virtual, green-screen experience for fans who wanted to sing with the choir.

This virtual experience premiered at the American Choral Directors Association conference in Salt Lake City February 24–28. Attendees stood in specified boxes, looked straight forward and sang their hearts out.

This experience previews the choir’s Atlantic Coast Tour. The choir will bring a portable booth of this interactive sing-along to the East Coast when it performs. The tour takes place June 25 to July 6.

Executive director of “Music and the Spoken Word” Ed Payne told LDS Magazine he plans on recording “another popular song that people will be more familiar with the tune, so they’ll have fun doing it.”
