Oct. 16 — An individual reported unwanted contact with another individual near the JKB.

Fraud

Oct. 16 — An individual reported an attempted fraud through an Internet link.

Disorderly conduct

Oct. 16 — An officer took a report concerning a verbal and physical altercation between a parent and child near the JKB.

Theft

Oct. 17 — A secured bicycle was reported stolen from the bike racks near Helaman Halls.

Oct. 18 — An officer responded to a report that an individual had taken clothing. The individual was stopped and cited.

Burglary

Oct. 17 — Three cars were burglarized.

DUI

Oct. 17 — A man called officers and told them that while he was driving he swerved to miss a deer and rolled his car and was trapped inside. When an officer arrived he found the man trapped in his car, which was rolled onto its side. After helping the man out, the officer could tell the man had been drinking. The man was uninjured and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Theft

Oct. 17 — A woman left her purse in a conference room after a work training. Her debit card was reported stolen and had been used several times at a local grocery store.

Oct. 17 — Officers arrested a woman for felony retail theft after she was caught shoplifting at Walmart.

Oct. 17 — Officers charged a man with theft after Target video surveillance caught him shoplifting.

Drug abuse

Oct. 17 — Officers responded to a report of a strong odor of marijuana and Doritos coming from an apartment near 1000 N. 100 West. The renter handed over his weed to police and was cited.
