Sept. 16 — An individual reported a computer missing after moving equipment from the building.

Sept. 17 — An individual reported a secured bicycle taken from a bike rack.

Theft

Sept. 16 — A business near 100 W. 800 North was burglarized. Detectives are following up on leads.

Sept. 17 — Orem Police are looking for a stolen convertible 2005 Chrysler Sebring.

Sept. 17 — Police served a search warrant at a motel in Provo. This followed the arrest of a man police identified as a suspect laundry room burglar linked to at least three burglaries in Orem alone.

Disorderly conduct

Sept. 16 — Police broke up a neighborhood dispute near 700 E. 1400 S. One neighbor was watering his lawn, sidewalk and his neighbors truck. The neighbor didn’t like the water spraying her truck, so she moved the sprinkler. After a bit of pushing, yelling and some finger pointing, the two were separated by the officers.

Other

Sept. 17 — A woman called because she suspected her neighbor of vandalizing her car and wanted to know if she could pepper-spray him. She was advised otherwise and told that she should only use pepper spray for self defense.
