Joe’s is starting to make waves in the local community for its cool environment, great food and excellent service. It has a nearly perfect rating from popular online review sites like Yelp.

“I felt like I was instantly blended into their culture,” said Tanya Burton, a Provo resident who first visited Joe’s on a date. “Between the beautiful chalk art on the walls and the friendly service, I was captivated.”

Price range

Made with all-natural ingredients, the restaurant’s cuisine boasts a variety of menu items ranging from shakes to burgers to rice bowls, all priced between $4 and $9.

Specialty dishes

Owner Greg Mecham, an experienced entrepreneur and food fanatic, developed Joe’s to provide local Provo residents a genuine all-American restaurant that was economically friendly and enticingly tasty — a feat accomplished with Joe’s most popular menu item, the Stoneman Burger.

“The burger has mushrooms, onions, guacamole, bacon and just under a half-pound of beef, topped with two homemade sauces that people really love,” Mecham said.

Additionally, Joe’s homemade shakes are the perfect draw for anyone with a sweet tooth.

“We have more background with higher-end food industries, so we really have been able to take those principles and translate them into a more convenient and affordable restaurant,” Mecham said.

Hours and location

Joe’s is open from 11 a.m. to midnight, Monday–Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday–Saturday, and is closed Sundays. Joe’s is located at 490 N. Freedom Blvd. in Provo.

What the owner says

“It’s [food] really our passion, and we want people to come and feel that excitement and have a good time,” Mecham said.

Mecham also said the team is actively trying unique food combinations and ingredients to give customers a diverse and palatable menu.
