La Dolce Vita Ristorante Italiano offers a slice of Italy in Downtown Provo. It provides homemade Napoli (Naples) dishes and authentic Italian sodas, among other items like soups, pastas and salads. The restaurant found its home here in 1984 and has been serving families and Italian addicts ever since.

Hours and Location

La Dolce Vita is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Noon to 10 p.m., Saturday

Closed Sunday

La Dolce Vita is located at 61 N. 100 East in Provo.

Prices

Lunch prices range from $2.99 to $15, with Everyday Lunch Specials at $8.95. Dinner prices range from $4 to $16.

Popular choices

Many customers enjoy the gnocchi, spinach calzone, minestrone soup and pesto pizza.

Interesting fact

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Provo opening of La Dolce Vita. To celebrate, the restaurant is offering a dinner special for two that includes two salads or soups, two entrées, two drinks and a dessert for $26.99.

Missionaries eat free on Wednesdays.

The manager says

“The restaurant is more like a family place,” said manager Miguel Garcia. “The environment is very homey; the food is soul food. We make everything. It’s not a franchise; you taste homemade food.”
