What in the WWW?: Pranking the professor

242

Students sometimes dream of pranking their professors. A class at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich., took advantage of their professor’s cell phone rule to pull an April Fools’ prank that has been seen by nearly four million people in just two days.

It’s common to find a technology clause in the syllabus for your college courses since teachers don’t want technology distracting the students in their class.

While some teachers take away points for phones that go off in class, this teacher tried to deter his students from using their cellphones in class by making them answer their phones on speaker phone in class. Little did he know he was setting himself up for an April Fools’ joke that would go viral on the internet.
