Stormtroopers brought their viral dance moves and hip-hop beats to BYU on Jan. 28 to see what happens when the dark side and Miley Cyrus get together.

The group was inspired by the success of their viral video that has received nearly 3 million YouTube views.

“We wanted an angle that’s shareable and unique,” said producer Scott Winn of the Star Wars phenomena and Utah’s love for dance. “It was really an excuse to make a fun song, fun dance video and mix in some pop culture.”

Fans of Winn’s work can look forward to more dance video featuring the moves of the Sith Lord’s army. The group is making a series called “Storm Trooper Secrets” that will be on his YouTube channel ScottDW.
