The fall 2013 intramural season has started, and the campus-wide hunt for each sport’s ultimate prize is underway.

For students out to meet their future spouse or in search of the most coveted T-shirt on campus, the intramural program makes it possible for undergrads to compete in multiple sports ranging from co-ed kickball to flag football to 3-on-3 basketball.

Rules and regulations for most of the intramural activities are consistent with high school rules and regulations. The aims and values of a BYU education are also implemented in the program.

“The spirit of sportsmanship is the basis of (the) intramural program,” said Emily Andrews, assistant director of intramural activities at BYU. “We hope that participants and employees practice self control.”
