Utah’s high score was a 197.300. BYU has yet to score in the 196’s this season; however, coach Brad Cattermole is confident that the team will continue to improve in the last meets of the season.

GymnasticsVsBoiseState08“The goal was a 195, then 195.5. We’ve hit those, and the next one is a 196. We’re capable of doing that,” Cattermole said. “They can do better than the 196 if they just do what they’re capable of doing.”

The meet will be held in the Marriott Center this weekend. Cattermole said the gymnasts enjoy competing in the Marriott Center, as it is the meet the athletes look forward to all season.

“It’s a fun meet and we always tend to do well up there,” Cattermole said, “This is why you play sports, so you can be in meets like this.”

The meet with take place in the Marriott Center at 7 p.m. MST on Friday, March 1. Scores will be broadcast live on BYUtv and byu.statbroadcast.com.
