BYU student-athletes will collect gently used or new T-shirts this weekend for the annual West Coast Conference T-shirt drive that will benefit the non-profit group Clothes4Souls.

Collection boxes will be in the Smith Fieldhouse and the Marriott Center during the men’s volleyball and men’s basketball games on Saturday.

The school that collects the most T-shirts will receive $1,000 to donate to a charity of its choice. The second-place school will receive $500 and the third-place school will receive $300 to donate to charity as well.

The donated T-shirts will be shipped to a Clothes4Souls warehouse in Las Vegas. From there, the T-shirts will be distributed to underprivileged people around the world.

Although the WCC fundraiser will end on February 27, the only opportunities for BYU students to donate will be during the volleyball or basketball games this weekend.

Both games begin at 7 p.m. The volleyball game will be held in the Smith Fieldhouse and the basketball game will take place in the Marriott Center.
