BYU women’s volleyball player Nicole Warner is currently No.1 in the NCAA Division 1 volleyball for blocks per set with 1.73. The senior has also averaged 2.21 blocks in West Coast Conference play.

“It’s definitely been a goal all season long to get to the top,” Warner said. “I just want to be able to stay focused and not let that get to me.”

Warner said she is not going to let her top spot allow her to get comfortable. Warner plans on continuing to work hard and keep progressing so she can keep her top spot.

“I want to be able to keep working and keep my spot so that at the end of the season I can look back and say I finished at number one,” Warner said. “That’s where it really matters.”
