Even Cosmo is excited for Easter. BYU is hosting it’s first ever Cosmo’s Easter Egg Hunt at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

The event will take place Saturday, April 7. This activity is for young children who can find Easter eggs filled with candy and valuable prizes. Some of the prizes are BYU football tickets, passes to tour the locker room and more.

This Saturday will be the first annual Cosmo's Easter Egg Hunt on the field of LaVell Edward Stadium at noon.
“There are Easter Egg hunts all over the valley,” said Bill Hoops, who is heading the event, in an email. “But none is as cool a place as this one.  We are excited to host so many families in our community and hope to provide a good time.  As of now 4,000 fans have RSVP’d.”

Hoops said the purpose of the Easter Egg hunt is really all about fun.

“Have fun with our Cougar fans and let them be on the field,” Hoops said.  “We would love to accomplish an increase in kids club membership.”

Everyone who participates in the hunt will get a voucher that is good for admission to either the baseball, softball or track and field events that will occur right after. Fans will be able to take pictures with Cosmo and the Easter Bunny at Miller Park.

When asked who this event is directed toward, Hoops said it was more for families.

“It is directed at anyone with kids that like the two C’s … Candy and Cosmo,” Hoops said.

BYU athletics and Cosmo are putting on and sponsoring the event. BYU requests an RSVP from anyone who would like to attend.
