BYU exhibit marks 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor

The L. Tom Perry Special Collections at the Harold B. Lee Library will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Japanese attack on U.S. forces at Pearl Harbor beginning today.

A small exhibit featuring a clipping from the Dec. 8, 1941 issue of the Chicago Daily News, a selection from the account of the event by a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who was on the island that day as well as some materials from Utah’s Topaz War Relocation Center will be featured on the library’s first level.

Admission is free, and the public is welcome to attend. Library hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
