The chandeliers atop the Abravanel Hall shook, rattled, and rolled Monday night when Lenny Kravitz took to the stage and delivered one of the most memorable concerts in recent history.

“Let love rule” was the central message Kravitz delivered to the sold out audience in Salt Lake City, during one of his stops on his Circus tour. This concert has been highly anticipated by Kravitz fans for years, and even rivaled the monumental Pearl Jam concert in November. In many ways it surpassed the expectations of the most devout Lenny Kravitz fans.

Soloman Roberts, a senior from Orem majoring in economics said, “The concert was better than I could have imagined, he really rocked.”

With his charismatic personality and stage presence Kravitz captivated the crowd with his unique mixture of 70’s guitar licks. He gave the crowd even more than it expected when midway through the concert he tossed out one of his acoustic guitars to the crowd, only later to be topped when Kravitz ventured out into the crowd to dance and hang out with “his fans.”

“He knew how to play to the crowd which made for a great concert,” Maria Leavitt, a Junior majoring in zoology from Annabella said, “It was the best concert I’ve ever attended.”

Such comments where rampant after the concert, from which no fans left disappointed.
